MINExpo is the world’s largest mining event, covering the entire industry from exploration, mine development, open pit and underground mining, safety and more. Dual Agent Fire Suppression System on Liebherr Haul Truck
AFEX’s de agente dual fire suppression system will be on display at MINExpo. The dual agent system is a space-saving solution that combines the benefits of dry chemical with liquid agent for the most effective method of targeting severe fire risks. The system also includes a programmable control unit, compatible with fleet management software for effective, timely fire detection communication. The unit provides both audible and visual signals to alert to any alarm conditions or troubleshooting needs. This system has been rigorously tested for safe operations and is approved by Factory Mutual HDME, ActivFire and CE.
The AFEX dual agent fire suppression system will be installed on Liebherr’s newest equipment addition, the T 274 305 t / 336 ton haul truck, in booth #7627. The T 274 haul truck offers with the largest payload capacity in its class, moving more tons each hauling cycle.
